Wedding day: 5 September 2026

Stay: 4-7 September 2026

Public Transportation

If you are travelling to Italy by plane and planning to reach the villa by public transport after landing, you have a few options depending on your arrival airport. Regardless of where you land, you will need to make your way to Chiusi–Chianciano Terme by train. We recommend using this Google Maps link with your location enabled to find the quickest and easiest route to the venue.

Getting to the Villa from Florence airport (2h20)

  • Arrive at Florence Airport (Peretola)

  • Take the T2 tram from the airport towards Unità / Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN), Florence’s main train station.

  • At Firenze Santa Maria Novella, take a Trenitalia train towards Chiusi–Chianciano Terme. Depending on the service, the final destination displayed on the train may be Rome or another station further south - just make sure that Chiusi–Chianciano Terme is listed as a stop.

  • Get off at Chiusi–Chianciano Terme station, the closest major railway station to Montepulciano.

From there, someone will pick you up if you let Sara or Thibault know in advance. Alternatively, you can continue your journey to your accommodation or the wedding venue by taxi.

Getting to the Villa from Rome airport (2h40)

  • Arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)

  • The airport has its own train station, conveniently located within the airport. Take the Leonardo Express towards Roma Termini, Rome's main train station. The journey is direct and takes around 32 minutes.

  • At Roma Termini, take a train heading north towards Florence or Tuscany and make sure that Chiusi–Chianciano Terme is listed as one of the stops.

  • Get off at Chiusi–Chianciano Terme station, the closest major railway station to Montepulciano.

From there, someone will pick you up if you let Sara or Thibault know in advance. Alternatively, you can continue your journey to your accommodation or the wedding venue by taxi.
